My daughter was suffering from a huge number of health issues that her doctors all blamed on mental health issues. My daughter Gabriela went to see Dr. Saima as she relapsed on her treatment for Bartonella and was diagnosed with Mold toxicity. She was not doing good, she was angry, depressed, tired, gaining weight, with difficulties to attend to school, self harming. Cognitive decline is a very terrible thing, and a single tablet to slow down the progression is totally unacceptable. A Neurologist was seen for some time, but was detached. The Neurologist was detached, because no hope was provided. Thank God a doctor in Somerset, NJ was located as one who is a Dr. Dale Bredesen ReCode 2 certified (see Apollo Health) specialist. The ReCode 2 certified doctor in New Jersey provided some hope, so Mycotoxin test was ordered to determine causation. Dr. Daniel Amen group also had mold test done, in order to determine if mold is a contributing factor to cognitive decline. Test results were positive (unacceptable levels). The ReCode 2 certified doctor in New Jersey referred to a trained specialist under Dr. Neil Nathan, which lead me to Rebalance Family Health. To date Rebalance Family Health has been doing a great job in addressing all issues determined to cause cognitive decline (include mold and lyme/coinfections), which has proven to be effective. The treatment plan was tailored to individual needs. It has been easy to communicate with the practice. The patient has a very effective interactive portal. A single pill to slow cognitive decline is totally objectionable, but a corrective course of action to address causation is to be embraced. I saw Dr. Saima after going to two well-known functional medicine practices in Orlando for two years.
